“Haha” or “lol” are common ways to start a message in America. He most certainly wasn’t making fun of you. But since you pressed his division, he and many others prefer training for U21/NT over competing in a large nation.

I once had a team with 1757 players and was $25,835,360 in debt. This is not that team. Join the Discord group open to anyone, but especially for USA managers to improve your club or get involved with the U21 and NT programs (https://discord.gg/cKpNkt2).

It was funny though. His message even says that it looks like you’re underestimating the time and effort necessary. That’s a nervous funny, but still funny.

Well this thread took a bit of a turn. First off Tehran has won B3, I don't think we can question the man's pedigree. What I am going to question is the attitude. I sense his tenure would be rather autocratic, his way or the highway. In the short term on the court this would not be a bad thing, settling on a squad and defining the roles and sticking to it will help the on court product. But on the front of building interest in the NT and of attracting new blood his current disposition will be counterproductive.

There really wasn't a chance of you winning unfortunately to say but this certainly doesn't help and while you may have felt personally attacked it's worth to note JK is the current U21 manager. You still have my vote, fwiw.

While you being a foreigner candidate makes it extremely unlikely that you will win, nobody here has attacked you or is angry with you for running as a non-American. Best of luck with the results.

End of discussion for me in this forum to avoid wasting my time talking to people who are so angry to see a stranger in their election list.
Reading through this thread I can assure you that this is not the case. I wonder if this is a misunderstanding based on a language or cultural barrier. Wouldn't hurt for everyone to be more patient and relaxed in this discussion. Sahand, you should feel welcome to rejoin the conversation, no one doesn't want you to. Deftly entertaining differing opinions and keeping open communication I suspect are important NT manager skills in larger nations.

Someone like who? A micro nation manager with no experience running anything but their own team in a country of less than fifty? Before you question my experience you should consider that you wouldn’t have made it out of “D5” in my country.

Frankly put I wasn’t making fun of you, but if this is your reaction to advice freely given, good luck to you friend.

Yeah, I mean, sure, he's dominated his micronation and won B3 multiple times, but who's to say he could actually manage to compete in an international league with essentially all-star rosters and it's own enthusiasm... oh.
