I also experienced some unusal injuries and heard some of my friends are the same. I asked the same question earlier this season and I got an arrogant and ignorant answer from naker virus and some stupid GM closed the thread like it's so wrong to discuss the number of injuries. At least you didn't get ant stupid replies by so "called" experts of this game. Games running late, updates don't occur and GM's are free to decide when should we discuss about any particular topic. This game is getting ridicolus everyday.

Well you could have been like me. I lost my Starting SG in the Scrimmage at the start of the season and then lost my back up PG in the first match of the season. I just got my back up back last week and my SG just got healed this week. So while I've only had 2 they were for quite some time.

Tut tut...
Naker knows a lot about this game so don't hate. He has helped a lot of people and proved many people wrong so I would go for his help/advice/words over most of the people in this game.
Calling GMs stupid only gets you on the bannnnnnnnnned list
U mad?

Can you smell what the Hobos are cooking... oh wait its just Roger. (18085274)

fire222, i don't know what thread of yours was closed in the past but if it was written using the same kind of tone that you're using here, i'm not surprised.

You're welcome to discuss what you like .....but keep it civil. As F-Rat said, the only thing that talk like that is going to get you is a forum ban.

As far as injuries go, there have been no changes to the way that injuries work. I've had a couple more than i'm use to this season as well but it's just the luck(?) of the draw. If there were going to be any major changes like that, the BBs would make an announcement about it.

answer of naker was was: it's just you!

than thread closed.

so direwolf, keeping it civil almost never works here. at least this is what I've seen so far.

thanks.

Well, i don't know what thread it was exactly so i don't know exactly what was said but i do know that Naker is usually one of the more helpful people around and tries to help out where he can.

Like i said, there have been no changes in the way that injuries work so technically, Naker was right. Maybe whoever closed the thread figured that was that and closed the case or maybe the GM thought it was posted in the wrong area of the forums or something, i'm not sure.

What i can tell you is that GMs from all over the world do their 'job' for free and purely helping out for the love of the game and the community and we try to keep things as open as we can . I'm sorry if you feel you were hard done by on your particular occasion but as you can see by all the previous posts in this thread, civil talk seemed to be working just fine :)

I have had one injury in my 3 seasons in this game and that was to a backup SG. However it does seem that my guys cause ALOT of injuries. I'm wondering if gameshape maybe has to do with how often injuries occur because it would be realistic if a guy with proficient gameshape stayed healthier than a guy with respectable(Again you may have had a proficient gameshape get injured I'm just making a guess)

Hey Fire...I read Nakers Posts all the time, and exchange BBmails with on occasion as well...I know for a fact his intention is to be helpful. His response to you "Its just you!" was not meant to be dissrespectful or blow you off..in your question, you sort of gave two options: 1. is it you? or 2. Are there more injuries this season

I am sure in an effort to be funny he responded "Its Just you" because that was an option you gave....if you read betweeen the lines, what he was saying was, that in fact, injuries as a whole have not increased this season...so like wolf said, it must just be bad luck for you (and I am sure others as well).

The one thing I have figured out on these forums is that with people from all over the world, sometimes we missunderstand the tone of what someone is saying because we don't all speak the same language. I thought one particular GM was being a real jerk in his responses, and it was pointed out to me that in his part of the world the direct responses he was giving was a normal part of his language/communication and that he was intending at all to be offensive.

For what its worth, I hope that helps a little!

good post but I guess language barrier doesn't explain why that thread was closed.your opinion about naker is so naive.cmon we all know him.he has an offensive style and he is never warned for that type of responses.we are all equal but he's more equal than others.:)

No, I am not naive...I am just not a mental midget either....I have common sense and maturity to read what a guy like Naker says, and take it for what it is. If I don't agree with him, or anyone else for that matter, I dont see the point of arguing for two days about the intent, and meaning of a word said to explain a word, that a particular word was used to make a point about something that both people are now claiming they never meant to say in the first place.

All kind of silly to me.

I read these forums EVERY single day...but I dont comment a whole lot. Rarely do I even give my opinion because I dont care to argue with anyone. But I read through these forums picking up little tidbits of information. Some I really get behind, some I ignore completely. Some I use to piece together with something else I already know or believe.

Personally I am glad there doesnt seem to be one right answer about most of these things...and personally I am glad that people do things many different ways, and in some cases, wrong :-) Just gives guys like me that are progressing fast, (only had a team since April), hope that I can catch, and pass a lot of people.

I find it funny though that regardless if its Naker, or others like Naker get bashed the way they do, for being willing to submit their opinion on just about every question or issue. Many, many people, including the people who bash him, I am sure have learned at least one thing from him. If he went away, I bet you anything a ton of people who want answers to certain things, would eventually start wondering "I wonder what Naker would say about this". Instead of being a jerk when people don't agree with him, or anyone, why not just take it for what its worth, ignore it, and move on.

I was reading in another forum where one of the absolute best in BB was being attacked, and some owners were celebrating his recent loss. Simply because the guy proposed a thought, but hadn't yet done it himself. LOL, give me a break...some people just look for a reason to gripe or complain.

They say some people need a crisis in their life to be happy...well maybe Naker should change his name to "Crisis" because he seems to be their crisis in their life. It seems that some people are more interested in 1 balling him, and arguing with him, than they are about managing their own teams.
