yes you can win by TIE but be prepared for the unexpected as a loss might occur if you dividein quality between the teams isnt as big as it needs to be....
having said that you can always cheer yourself up knowing you are not alone or try and justify to the rest of the community that you were just unlucky (14900.1)
I must say that TIE in combination with playing away from home is a prety devastating combination.
the first time I lost a game (not playing TIE) when I had higher ratings and higher expected points/100 shots I blamed it on free trows, and it probably was the killer.
Now however I can't realy find an explaination why I lost my last game, overall my ratings where better, my individualplayer gradings where higher on average, expected points per 100 also higher... my enthousiasm was 10 when I started the game...
the only thing I can come up with now is TIE in combination with away-game... I don't believe in bad luck or crappy game-engine, so there must be a reason. Poosibly TIE was created to be used at home-games only, unless you wanted to loose ? Maybe if there is areal big diffrence between the teams it might work?
