There is a PF in the SA U21 with 5OD and 5ID... I asked his manager wether he had any training plan, he answered:

"yes i have and it is very important.
i will training ribbons and short shot"

(figure out the fellow has starter potential)

this PF is the 6th best player in the team. I guess I'll have to make do =)

One of the best players on the Indian U21 team a season or two was starter potential. Sadly he capped after one pop and by the end of the season was quite bad but there was no-one even close in skills to replace him with.

So just wondering if im doing something wrong with my training. My main trainee hasn't had a pop in the last 3 weeks. First week he had no pop i was training him in ID, so i decided to train him in IS and he hasn't popped in these last two weeks of this training. Ive had him play 48+ minutes with single position and i have a level 5 trainer. Am i missing something??

I would need to know more details. Age and height for a start, but it is very easy fro a slowish skill to occasionally take three weeks to train especially if the age or height isn't great.

It used to happen to me when I was training big men. You don't have to worry about it: you get no pop for 2-3 weeks and then you get 3 pops in 3 different primary skills.

Should average around 3 weeks per pop for inside.

When he gets to 20 it will be 4 weeks.

There is a new external site which gives really good analysis on how long it will take for players to pop, given age, height and trainer level.

Contribute to make the stats better. anyways, for your guy, training IS will take 2.3 weeks to pop Inside Shot skill. Training Inside Defence will take 2.1 weeks to pop Inside D

So with those numbers above, unfortunately it does mean that you have been quite unlucky that your guys havent popped yet, but statistically possible.
Train IS for one more week and your guy will pop in both ID and IS i would say. :)

So the French arent much of a help sent all there scouts and coachs messages about this player. But non replied. So what do you guys think i should do with this player to make him strong in div 3 and beyond. What should i am for by the time he is 23/24.
