Yeah, I try to find one with lower salary but if I end up having to bid more than I feel he's worth, then I tell him to "f" off and enjoy the team that's willing to overpay. I normally receive a stern letter from the staff's agent afterwards about that kind word I sent their way.

No surprises or close games on Day 10 with a few exceptions.

Gavno beat Tachenko 103-63. Tachenko, who is still alive in the cup, just didn't play some of their regulars and probably TIE'd like most of the others playing against Gavno. This is not good news for Goats and Illusion, other title contenders in Great 8, because almost no one does the same when playing them. I said almost no one, not no one!! Rip City is also still in the cup race and benched their regulars against Goats. As a result, it was easy for the Goats: 81-56.

Investors were really so close to pull out the biggest upset of the day, maybe the season, against Hawks. They missed the last shot and couldn't send Hawks to the free throw line as they couldn't reach 5 fouls on the last quarter: 95-96. Investors were unlucky but deserve credit. Hawks are exhausted after playing 4 of their last 5 games on road and only home game against the mighty Gavno. Maybe it's time to lose.

Illusion took care of Flyers but not that easy. They were trailing by 2 after the first half but coach's half time speech helped the players to get things back on track: 101-90

Booshers hammered Knicks with a proficient inside offense. 101-48. After the sale of Jose Ramirez, Knicks' offensive flow took a big hit but losing @ Booshers is not a big surprise.

Crazys won on the road against Dragons and climbed to 3rd place. 88-104. They only committed 6 fouls through out the game.

One of the most exciting games of the day was between Bangers and Magic. Bangers didn't want to lose in front of their own crowd, fought hard on the last quarter and saved the day. 97-87. All the stats were close except one: turnovers. Even only Ryan's TO's were almost equal to whole Bangers team.

Steppers are in the play off race with a great win against Cresleys. 99-76. Cresleys just couldn't stop Steppers’ scoring machine Mina.

Player of the day is Adrian Beavers of the Bangers. 20 pts, 13 rbds, 5 asts, 2 blcks.

Games to watch on Saturday are, Goats @ Booshers and Gavno @ Rip City.

Thanks for all the thoughts and effort you put into the analysis. It does liven up the conference and the competition.

I do believe the playoffs are an illusion for my squad at this point. Having played my first 3 interdivision games against the weaker/underperforming teams, the X-steppers are about to come back down to earth. Though it is nice to be sitting at 5-5 and above the line for the moment.

Dont forget X-man.. you were blown out by my team (which was surprising, I admit) ...I must be one of said under performing teams.. actually.. I just checked and that makes sense.. the Booshes have been the only team to blow me out so far..So.. it stands to reason I might be able to pull a couple upsets this second half.. plus.. my close loss to the illusion at their arena while both of us playing on TIE and my Enthusiam only at 5 should be a good indicator of things to come for me as well

plus your recently bought 30k C might help you a lot. It's a good time if you are a buyer and I wish I had the money to add some pieces to my bench.

and steppers I don't believe play offs is an illusion for you. 4th seed on great 8 side is up for grabs.

Nice Analysis Hawks....

I went for the W and came so close (yet so far). The schedule gods are not kind to me.... Tekendo on the road then the Booshes.... Time for the Investors to regroup and get ready.

So I know this might sound like a dumb question and a bit selfish on my part but I'm going to ask it anyway.

Mina played 48 minutes against Cleveland last night. If I bench him against Indianapolis, and he does not play at all. Does that game impact his average per game per BB stats? I know I get nothing out of the Top Scorer award but it is one of the things that is keeping me motivated in this tough tough series and I don't want to screw it up.

We are halfway throught the regular season and things are shaping up in Div III.4.

Rip City confirmed that they are really a dangerous team although they have lost Gavno: 81-85. 1-3-1 zone against Gavno's look inside didn't look like a good choice at first but Rip City could have won if they stepped up a bit on the offensive end in the last quarter.

No surprise at Indianapolis where undefeated Hawks host winless Dragons: 119-104.

After an active week on the transfer market, Booshers beat Goats easier than we all expected, thanks to their defensive effort in the second half, where Goats could only score 22: 91-62. Booshers owner Plotts seems much more confident about his team and their chances about the title race.

Illusion had no difficulty at Connecticut and managed to beat Cresleys: 71-90. Cresleys' 25% FT percentage is a major concern for the fans. Otherwise they did a nice job against league's one of the biggest powerhouses.

After making their way to the Round 6 of the cup, Tachenko had another victory, this time against Investors. Investors have the hottest logo but they were ice cold on the court, shooting 29/86 from the field: 117-77.

Knicks, currently busy with rebuilding, were stunned by Magic: 143-48. Magic fans are absolutely delighted with this victory. Play-offs can be distant target for them but they will chase Rip City and Flyers for the safe 5th seed or a homecourt at the relegation series. 60% behind 3 pt line, plus 88% from the foul line and an overall %62 FG gives an idea about their monster offense.

Crazys happy with their current 3rd place and keep on winning: 91-60. Steppers forced their opponent 18 turnovers but if you let them grab almost 30 more rebounds than you do, loss is inevitable.

Gabriel scores 27 as Flyers top Bangers: 106-94. They won 4 of their last 5 games and definitely on fire. On the other hand Bangers still couldn't win on the road and a few road wins can help them a lot. Flyers’ 10 blocks as a team including 4 from PG Alan Snell surely is worth a mention.

Player of the day was Mathieu Billon of the Hawks. He recorded 39 pts and 28 rebound, both marks were career highs.

On Tuesday, Gavno will host Booshers which is expected to be a great game in many ways.

Billon is a stud. If he's not MVP at season's end I will be very surprised.

Also, Gavno will have the extra cup game for enthusiasm. That worries me, I'm playing on the road and with less enth.

The very definition of "Behind the 8-ball".

You are correct. If he does not play at all, it will not impact his stats. I have a similar problem with Braden. He plays a full game and then 9-12 minutes in the other game so his stats aren't telling of what he really does when he starts.
