The third thing I’m going to talk about is the conflict between team interest and U21 interest. This is about how I prefer to train a player, especially for big men. Take a look at the rosters of some bigger countries and we’ll easily find some centers with $60000 or above salary. This is fully possible even for a small nation like us. All we need is a 18 yo center with decent starting skills and also some dedicated training. But I never encourage this, in the past and in the future. I have said that the result of U21 is important and if we have some monsters generating 16-17 rating every match, winning will be indeed easier. But does this fit team interest? Or I should say, can the team training these players really benefit and become a main force? The answer is probably no. From the point of NT / U21, having monsters never hurt (it’s a pity that we only have 1 FSX!). But how about the teams? Unless you are already a very good team, you will have big difficulty keeping these monsters (sometimes even 2 at the same time). We’ve seen many such cases: 21 or 22yo monsters selling for little. What I stress is a step-by-step sustainable growth of teams through training. How can this be done? You don’t need to be too rush when you train. Get the main skills to about level 13 by the end of 20yo would be OK. If this target is achieved, why don’t spend some time on secondary, especially passing? If the team grows at a roughly the same pace as the player, it would be very nice. This is important because every team wants to have an “icon” for a very long time. And it is the presence of such “icons” that attach managers to the game and the community. Build with your own draftees. This is the traditional BB value and it is never wrong. More dedicated managers and more SGP young great talents playing for their hometown team is what makes the whole SGP community better and bigger in the long run..

This is what I want to say for now. I know it’s awfully long. Thanks for your attention of reading it. But this is me. When I was a scout, I often wrote lengthy bbmails, saying this minor thing and that minor thing.

I’ll talk about how I’ll actually manage later. Please spare me if I don’t have much to say in the election speech.

Lastly I have a question for STN: what is your top priority if you become the manager? Honestly all along I don’t understand why you are suddenly interested in U21. I remember long time ago, Ben and I discuss the characteristics of different local managers. You have never trained a proper U21 before and you even seem to have refused to train. Therefore if I have to choose, Singapore FC is better as he has trained some great players, like Sun Qingxing in the current U21 team.

I think u don't need to say sorry because this is what I'll do anyway, sooner or later. If you think it is a stupid thing, it's fine. But I don't think so. If you are running for an election, then of course you need to share your ambition, vision, philosophy and your past experience to show everyone why you deserve the job. I am serious and I respect this election as well as my potential competitiors.

You, and perhaps many other else, ask me the question why I would like to handle U21. I give you my answers, though I don't know whether you have read it.

But let's see your answer to this question.

Why I wanna handle Singapore U21 team?

Because now we don't know Bro BigBen where is he. And I really want one of the another challenge.

Well, everyone thinks the same way. Why they need to choose you but not the others?

Then you talk about how you will handle U21. I'm not commenting on this now as I'll talk about my plan later.

Then what you do is to browse through the SGP leagues to see which talents are out there. I appreciate your effort. But as I have said, there is a player database which basically contains everything. If you are elected, you'll probably have access to it. Still, it is a good effort. But you miss one guy: Chan Feng Qiang [21391155], another bright guy from Iperf Mania, which is a good trainer. CFQ is my sure pick if I choose the roster.

Btw, u have not answered my questions.

For getting monster, the best way is to get team from sg, to train them to a monster salary, but it would be hard, as we have less MVP and HOF, but for those club that has any of these, hopefully they willing to remain at their league for extra few season and help sg by training them.. If club from sbbl could step up and help to train any of these, it would be great, though sbbl is really tough fight, but it's time for us to start thinking. FSX is going to start to face droping performance and stats from next season. Problem will come soon.

But yes, lucky NT got few mini monster Around to help.

Now is all about how are we able convince few manager to commit in training MVP and HoF player.

1 point they need to understand: when they are training those player, during the peak season at 21-23 years ago, their salary is reaching 100 - 150k, that's the time they could challenge their team to a higher level. Alot people want result straight away, which are wrong, the result they get is not a long term plan.

With right training method, they could be, - superstar/MVP : mini monster.. While MVP hOF could be a monster.

So hopefully the next u21 manager can convince other managers to start training players.

Great job bro, nice report. The training plan is really difficult for all the manager. Bcuz need to use a lot of money for trainer and trainee and if want to sell for ur trainer surely lost the money and time. That's why i decision to train my 2 sg rosters all the way and use for all the way.

Last night game very good game. congratulation bro. Take care your enthusiasm. See you in SBBL next season Great 8 have 3 or 4 places for new teams

Ya, I understand the problem. But well, there must be team to do all this training, if not the NT won't grow. So what if the club is world champion, but is filled with foreign players. And for what I understand, the higher ranking of the NT, the better merchant income the NT player will fetch for the team.

No pain no gain.

Thanks alot, I'm looking forward to the day at sbbl.

Regards.

yeah every NT needs $300000 centres and $200000 guards. but like what I've said the emergence of such players should boost not only NT, but also the teams that train them, which in turn promotes the whole community (like general devotion to the game and perhaps more SGP managers). The key point is thus the young prospects should grow at rough the same rate as their team. That means when the player is 22-23, after about 5 seasons of training, the team should be promoted to a higher league or become a major force and this team can build around their monster for a long time.
