In preparation for the tournament quarter-final showdown with Eric. Insider news were leaked out that not only tactics were discussed behind closed door. There were also news of some sort of celebrations after the game regardless of the result.

One of the assistant staffs who refused to be named was interviewed, stating that he heard of terms like arsenals and fireworks being mentioned after the game.

Quadruple Lions this week

Asides of possible-riots on EricUnited arenas as result of SHB vs EU, the National Indoor Stadium are expected to commence Lion Dance event. This is due to a special occasion match between Lions XII and Lionheart Jaguar, which will took place on next Tuesday league game and Thursday Cup game. Judge from how Lionheart Jaguar were doing on past weeks (lost to EU & Slingers at home), will FPW-less Jaguar still able to prevent more empty seats at National Stadium? Stay Tuned.

Fu Loong Wei Buzzerbeater sent Lionheart Jaguar to third straight loss

Chan Ren Qing though he can redeem his bad night in the OT, but FLW negated it.

After a wild arcing three by CRQ, a lob pass by Fabrice Peyrard to FLW set the dramatic ends for Lions XII, as FLW drop the uncontested fastbreak dunk for the buzzerbeater. Whole National Stadium stunned again, as this is Jaguar three straight defeat at home.

Lions XII coach Mr. Choo seems have read the pattern, as he command FLW to get aggresive because he is guarded by Sewerian Wawruch. As expected, the hot-headed Wawruch gotten foul trouble and earned his sixth before halftime. Whole Jaguar team gone south afterwards, and FLW torched the team with SBBL career high 43 points.

Francisze Sklorz led teams with 21 points, but shot atrociously 2/13 from downtown. CRQ has 17 points and 8 rebs.

Other match at CPU arena, BKT led 57-43 at halftime before CPU raced back on 2nd half and beat the visitor team 106-93. Zhu Yingen led CPU with 25 points 7 assists and 6 rebs. Yeo Eng Heng led BKT with 22 points, Lim Shi Xin with 18 points and 18 rebs. Ngan Tsu Hung has 13 points and 12 rebs.

Meanwhile at SHP arena, EricUnited still showed no sign of letting away league games, as they bombarded SHP teams with large margin 97-55. EU is training SBBL best team Shohoku Backers, who is still perfect at 12-0.

As close as how the managers are towards each other, the same does not apply to the players facing each other tonight.

The game saw hand-checks and elbows flying around, with both teams accumulating record-breaking 41 fouls, 27 turnovers and 61 free-throw attempted. Lead changes were clocked multiple times between the 2 teams, tied at 72 apiece at the end of the 3rd quarter before EU used a late rally in the final quarter to put themselves 11pts ahead. The 72 pts combined effort by SHB trio, Sapsay, JinJin, and Brasao fall short against the well-balanced team lead by Eric's Szentmiklósi (20pts + 12rebs).

The SHB players who are supposed to head to the locker room, instead went straight to the carpark. Amid the news rumor, the EU security guards immediately head over to the carpark heavily armed, only to find the SHB players, carrying dozens of champagnes to the hall room to find their SBBL mates. Lots of hugging, dancing and celebration were done between both teams. Both managers were also sighted, joining in the fun.

With EU moving on to the tournament semi-final, SHB manager, RaneLone wished him best of luck! As he will match-up against LIO, the unpredictable Lion team.

Super SaungHninPwint. SHP win big in OT, defeated SG Young Guns 117-107.

It's obvious. Without Vrisan Sharma doesn't really matter for SHP.

With their victory delayed in regular time after Ponc Davesa hit buzzerbeater to tie it at 97-97, SHP showed their amazing durability, made them stay calm on the OT. With Vukasin Duric connecting from all angel and Suhaimi bin Awang do the hustle play, SHP started OT with 10-2 run and never threathened thereafter, easily nab the important win.

Both teams started strong, neither led each other more than 7 points. Until 4th quarter where SHP started to gain control.
Xiong Zonghao led SHP with 29 points and 16 rebounds. Awang has 24 points and 15 rebs. Ponc Davesa led SG YG with 35 points.

Meanwhile the encore at National Stadium, Lionheart Jaguar avenged their Buzzerbeater loss vs Lions XII with 100-79. They start with a fast & furious play which made them build 26 points halftime lead. The lead ballooned to 70-47 midway at third. Lions XII tried to clear their deficit at fourth, but time wasn't enough for them to catch up. Chan Ren Qing led scorer with 25 points and 21 rebounds. Wawruch redeem himselft with 21points and 10assists.

With the victory, Lionheart Jaguar advanced to semifinal for the first time since the franchise is rebuilt. Jaguar will be posed up against Singapore best team EricUnited, who dropped a heavy beat to Jaguar at National Stadium. Meanwhile, SaungHninPwint will be having their Myanmar connection, as they are facing their own origin team Golden St@r, the dark horse who made a big milestone to advance to semifinal only at their second franchise season. What an achievement!

Sad not to makw the game more close, good luck for the cup!
