Hey Gents,

It feels like home being back in Division 2. Thank God I didnt land back in 2.4, 10 or so seasons was enough in there. Good luck to all this season. I hope you got an easy first up Cup game. The computer managed team I got has 51 players so I am going to have to do a lot of research to determine which 12 will suit up.

I got a really nice PG prospect. I'd love to get another kid in the U21 team but I don't think he'll be in my plans so I'm selling.

Yeah i managed to score a reasonably good pg prospect who has some good primary skills for a pg and some decent secondaries, but i'm also not in guard training mode so i'm tossing up between selling him or just keeping him as a backup. It's hard to sell a guy when you've spent so much on scouting throughout the year. It just makes you feel like you've wasted money.

Looking at your prospect, Mango's, mines actually got better starting skills. If only he had the MVP potential then i'd be able to sell him for a nice amount. As it is i'd probably be lucky to sell him for over $100k.

Well done to the new boys that got a win. There were some familiar results to win GT getting the big first win, and SVM, EGG SBV and DAS getting the early wins as well.

DAS looks to be preparing for a massive roster restructure with most of his top players including Griffiths on the block. He's obviously looking to make some changes after just falling short the last cpl seasons.

As for the Redback, I think i'll be fighting it out for 4th or 5th again, as my success will depend on the continued development of Trakys, Stevens and Agustino. It's time for my young brigade to take over.

Were you talking to me? (HA)

Need yoda to come in and give us the odds of the top 6 or 7 contenders.

Perhaps some one can set up a poll on the forum for who they think will be promoting to the ABBL from this division

I hope you are right, I have a whole season of training to get him into decent shape so hopefully we will be seeing him in the U21 at some stage in the future, and maybe the NT after that. The big thing, and this is the massive risk you take spending big dollars on rookies is will he be foul prone. That is the one thing that could wreck him.

Well that has been a surprising first week! Sitting 3rd is about 4 or 5 places better than I thought I'd be. :)

It seems kind of like bad karma that in my game against Belmore last night, it is my former draftee Adam Talbot that kills me in the final quarter to push his team for the W.

This game can be cruel sometimes.
