Get out of here Yorty. Don't suck in Naismith. I'm hoping I gave you enough of a challenge that you don't want to come back down next season

I'm liking the new blood and being active on the forum, we're off to a good start.

My goal is Naismith or bust this season. I can add one more piece to the team and that's it. With the way I'm training there is no way to be able to afford another season in division 2. If I don't promote this season than I am going to blow the team up and figure a new plan out.

That's sort of where I stand, too.

My team is costing too much, and soon my actual basketball season is gonna kick in, so my time's pretty much booked.

And yeah, good amount of posts already...took us about half a season to get here last time. :P

Hahah, we're just full of ourselves. ;)

If you wanna defy it, then show it...although Pain Train's better than me by now, so yeah...beat him and you'll be back in Naismith in no time.

How much money are you losing there Paulo? I'm assuming you don't make enough money to cover your player salaries, let alone your staff salaries on top?

Must be the hardest part of coming down is trying to keep the team together. And Faure getting hurt can't help. After he gets back from injury, he's going to take another couple weeks to get his game shape back up to where he'll play up to his salary. Good luck getting rid of him

i've noticed about a 350k a week difference from naismith to division II. i think this is quite excessive. i don't recall it being this drastic the last time i went down. it's been about a 40% drop in tv revenue, 60% gate receipts, 30% merchandising so far.
with this type of disparity i would expect it to be very difficult for teams to compete going up without having amassed a stockpile of funds over several seasons in lower divisions. as well crippling teams that are demoted. it would be interesting to see the disparity between div II and III, and so forth down.

Eek, that loss hurt. I'm looking to rehaul my team extensively over the next week or so - two non-winnable games in that span.

The greatest of all time.

I pulled off a huge unexpected win on the road, TIE vs. Normal, so I'm all good. :)
