If you play him at shooting guard you could train jumpshot for guards(PG,SG), or jumpshot for wingmen(SG,SF). Training Wingmen will get him a pop in IS about every 8 weeks, while training jumpshot for guards does not train IS, but is supposed to train DV/HN better.

He means that training JS for guards doesn't do anything for IS but if you train him on JS while training wingmen or forwards he will. So just be sure to train wingmen and put him in SG rather than having him as a SG and training guards.

No matter where you go, there you are.

Okay will do. Thanks for the help guys. I'm gonna try to get him a pop at IS at center first than start playing him as Shooting Guard, and will train wing men.

Handling can be trained very fast actually and if he has low handling to be a SF then he will have low handling to be a SG. ;)

you asked what stats are effected by height and I know stuff for big man like rebounding, inside shot, and inside def. And someone correct me if I am wrong here but for guards pop faster in stuff like handling, passing and outside def.

Don't put as much pressure on getting a pop on your guy each week.

If you have a good prospect, I imagine you'll be wanting to train him for 3-4 seasons. This being the case you are going to have to train most of his skills more than once or twice.(multiple weeks each)

Concentrate more on getting the full 48mins. Once you are doing this consistently you can be confident even when he doesnt skill up he is getting a healthy amount of sub-level training. Everything helps!
