A couple of queries regarding scrimmage matches.

Am I correct in assuming that computer managed teams can't be challenged?

Can any player-managed team be challenged or is it only supporter-managed teams?

Yes

Can any player-managed team be challenged or is it only supporter-managed teams?

All player managed teams can be challenged, except for the ones that are still in the National Tournament.
