The penalty situation in overtime is bugged, assuming BB is trying to follow NBA rules somewhat.

Here's the NBA rule: (http://www.nba.com/analysis/rules_12.html), B, Section V, (2) and (4) ((3) has to do with a penalty-less foul in the last 2 minutes of a period, which BB doesn't bother with, AFAIK):

(2) The first three common fouls committed by a team in any overtime peri-od, shall result in the ball being awarded to the opposing team on the sideline nearest where play was interrupted. The ball shall be awarded no nearer to the baseline than the free throw line extended.
(4) During any overtime period, common fouls charged as team fouls in excess of three, will be penalized by one free throw plus a penalty free throw attempt.

Here are my last two matches, in each of which the penalty situation as it was at the end of the 4th carried over into overtime: (1021056), (1021063). That is, the team foul count was not reset, and teams already in the penalty stayed in the penalty.

The team foul count and penalty state should instead be reset, and the 3+ team fouls rule for the penalty in OT used. (And make sure that the reset occurs for all subsequent OT periods!)

This is still broken, btw. Will this be part of the revised engine launching after the ASB?

I think we had been using the college version, where fouls simply don't reset when it goes into overtime. I'll check into this one.

You might also want to check on two fouls in the last 2 minutes of a quarter.

Ah there we are at the right topic.

It's still not completely fixed, if you check out this NT game, 6:00.

You see the foul is committed at shot clock time 17 seconds. After that the clock starts at 17 again, but the GE thinks it's 24. After the 17 seconds the shot clock says 00, but the overall clock counts even 6 more seconds before the shot was taken.

So the shot clock starts after the foul at 17, but he takes the shot at 23.

Something's still not right there.
