Cyprus U21 vs Deutschland U21

Welcome to the most interesting match we will face... that is one of the strongest opponents we will ever face!

Marko Fremd_____107328$
Nick Kaltwasser
Rainer Werner Altendorf
Karsten Ablaß

ok see that salaries? i bet they aren't monoskill rebounders...
I hope kaikas and pikoulas can face them without being raised to ground.

small forwards:
Nikolas Geischnek 28778$
Arnulf Taschwer
Rickleff Distler

Guards and point guards:

I defently love pitsikokos and atmatzidis, but this can be a hard match up!

MAY THEY FEAR US!
(our mantra never sounded so improbable)

Don't be sad, embrace it.

East Tennessee State is giving Pitt fits as we speak - maybe they wont win, but they'll be remembered for a long time.

eheh... my bracket on espn is glad about the result...
\ot

about next match against germany... it's a very good chance to face top players, to learn something about them... but such a "almost zero chances", isn't so easy to think about with a smile... even if also the match against eesti was lost before it begun, but we lead for three quarterters before our enthusiasm, 2, overcame us, more than our opponent attaack.

so hope dies last! my line up is set, gameshape are definted. now let's hope on some gift by the GE :)

There's always hope.

Give your best and that's all you can do.

As long as you give your best you can hold your head up high regardless of the final score.

We could not do better against a team with at least 2 levels in most of us with enthusiasm and a high level of play. it is good to see them play, boys, they are true champions. But our Cyprus is no exception.
We pressure the German champions for 2 quarters, forcing a first time out to recover a 2 '08 "from the beginning (counter 9' 52"), then stretch, then retrieve them again in the second quarter, then they ... played another game, but these are trifles. Cyprus is there :D
For MVP I have difficulty:
Pitsikokos? was the highest, but that 1 out of 13 from three-point weighs much
atmatzidis? complete as always but he does not convince me.
My indecision increased between Kaikas that he manages to stop the German giants carrying a 50% from the field with 10 rebounds and 3 assist, and
pikoulas, our young promise that 19 years suffer from the veteran German but it is again our best rebounder.

But I vote for Kaikas just because I'm sure Pikoulas can make much more and will have every opportunity to redeem.

Cyprus ale.

Good vision of the game man... we cannot do more than this, but I appreciate the first half.

This time I agree with your MVP too :-)

thanks for your great analisys! same them as against eesti.. i log into the match and there we lead against the top team... just for 2 quarters but that was awesome!

I'm really really falling in love with this team... we got until know the big gap of florakis always in bad shape, now he is on the market and I hope to strenghten up our inner play with him... pikoulas showed to be the perfect man close to kaikas, florakis is even better, but pikoulas receive the best training i have ever seen, thanks pallu!

the guys won one out of three right now, and the 2 L came against the leaders of our pool, now are upcoming opponents that we can face on the same level, every monday we have to prove something I hope we can do!

I agree with you for the mvp! but every guy really satisfied me!
