Hello everyone,
I'm a manager of M@T0D TEAM (55368) in Div.IV, Poland
I've been playing BB for 1,5 seasons so pretty much I'm still a newbie.
Last season went pretty well for me however this season I'm struggling.
I would like to ask more experienced users for advice on tactics and development plan for my team as well as to point out what I've done wrong, how I could avoid mistakes like that in the future, in which way I should develop my team, etc.

Currently my team looks as follows:
Trainer: Lvl 5, Money: $400k

Players: (positions they play on my squad):
1st PG 20: JS 7; JR 7; OD 7; HN 7; PS 5; DV 7; RB 7
2nd PG 22: JS 6; JR 6; OD 6; HN 7; PS 5; DV 6; RB 1
1st SG 19: JS 10; JR 9; OD 8; HN 2; PS 4; DV 7; RB 7
2nd SG 19: JS 6; JR 7; OD 9; HN 7; PS 2; DV 4; RB 5
1st SF 20: JS 8; JR 6; OD 8; HN 7; PS 3; DV 2; RB 7
2nd SF 34: JS 7; JR 6; OD 6; HN 5; PS 2; DV 6; RB 7
1st PF 20: IS 2; ID 7; RB 7; SB 7; JS 5; HN 6; PS 3;
2nd PF 22: IS 7; ID 7; RB 6; SB 1; JS 6; HN 5; PS 5;
1st C 21: IS 7; ID 7; RB 6; SB 5; HN 4; PS 1;
2nd C 20: IS 5; ID 7; RB 6; SB 7; HN 6; PS 1;

Training:
I'm training 2 PG/SG. At this moment Pressure due to the fact that 1st SG is Nation Team bound player for SF and I've to adjust training to fit him best. Which means that possible training for me are Pressure, JS and OS.

Tactics:
Since my players (to me) seem better at outside skills I usually play Motion and adjust my defense to the opponent (2-3 or 3-2 focus).

I would like to hear your opinion on the ways I can improve/change my team, tactics that would fit my team best, training and everything you might think I need to change to achieve better results now and in the future.
I would like to thank in advance to all the managers that will replay to my call for advice.

e: spelling and wrong stat

hello mate

I can give you my opinion on what you could do and what I did. But first I would like to know whether you want succes on the short term or on the long term.

I am building a team for the future, Been playing since the last few weeks off season 3 and my trainees are all 19 and guards. I train 6 players. So clearly this make my results worse, but 5 out off the 6 players are alot better than yours. And I am doing alright in div II in England. I used to have 6 great trainees but sold one for big money and will wait with a replacement until the new season starts and draftees are being sold.

I don't think you did anything wrong. You have very well rounded trainees. Just not as high as they could be at that age.

Before I write a long story let me know whether you would like to think off the future and make a step back in order to make 2 steps forward in the long term future or whether you prefer not to danger your results and stick to your current trainees...

Also it is very cool to have a NT player, but it doesn't really benefit your player or your team besides being able to say you have a player in the NT. from what you are telling us, it sounds it hurts your team more than you benefit from having a player in the NT.

Moominpapa

ps I would like to know, because I made several sacrifices in order to have the current crop off trainees I have.

hi,
At this moment I want to focus on future results and long term development as well as keeping the NT player. I pretty much don't mind getting rid of all the other players. It would be great, having in mind long term plans, if I could at least stick in Div.IV without relegating to Div.V. Pretty strict training plan is hurting my team a bit. The offensive flow is crap and training anything else than OS, JS or OD is pretty much not an option. 2 week games are also limited to the stamina training. So I would like to hear your long term concept for my team;)

Thi stamin training looks strange to me. does anyone have a good result based on high stamina?

Training OS, OD and JS with handling on 2 looks kinda not effective to me.

I personally have no idea about the stamina. it seems that the NT prefers players with certain ST level and inept is in my opinion significantly to low for them.
Do you think that this low handling has that much effect on slowing down the other skills training?

ur offensive flow is bad as your passing is bad.you need to upgrade the point,Power forward and center positions.looks good at sg and sf maybe sell your back up point,PF and center to raise cash to do that.Your 19 shooting guard looks like he could also run the point.How are you training are you training to develop a team or to raise cash.myself im trying to develop a young team keeping a core of 7 players that I train on a PF/C and PG/SG rotation the rest of the squad are made up of vets who I dont train and other young players who are developing to be sold.I also have 2 solid vets at SF as I never train the SF position.With regards to training focus i tend to train players to be more rounded and complete players before focusing on primary skills this allows them to play multiple positions and resulted with my team sporting a 12-0 record.hope this helps

I have. My team average in stamina is strong and it sure hasn't hurt me.

Especially works great against FCP's but I have good passers on the team so it is hard to judge the effect of stamina.

I now that OF is a huge problem of my team. You think that my SG will do a good job at PG even with such a low handling/passing? I want to focus on training guards because I want to keep the future NT player at my squad. The prices at the moment are a bit high at least for me to change PG to something much better and I guess waiting for the new draft could be a good idea. Do you suggest that I sell SF, C and PF and buy some vets for low money just to keep myself at the current div and the rest of the money I spend on younger and more prospective trainees?

about the SG as PG I made a typo and now the stats are fine.

i guess he meant the other one - 2nd SG in your list. Hn9 and Passing 7 is serviceable.

Edit: Oh,nevermind then.
