Hello everyone,

I have a player with those characteristics:

Jump Shot: tremendous Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: mediocre
Driving: mediocre Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: pitiful
Rebounding: inept Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: inept Free Throw: average

He is:
Age: 21
Height: 6'2" / 188 cm
Potential: allstar *

My training is Outside Shooting(wingmen). For 6 weeks of this training his Jump Range didn't get a higher level. He always had over 48min of training for those 6 weeks. I have level 9 trainer.

Can anyone explain me why is this happening because I expected that he receive at least one higher level of JR fot this period of time?

21 year old trains must slower than 18 year old. Either that is explanation or your player simply reached close to his potential. Maybe someone more expert in the game than me can help you?

I agree with you that 21 year old trains slower than 18 year old but 6 weeks(still didn't get pop on JR) I think is to slow. I also thought about player reach potential limit but he is only 21 and "allstar" potencial. It is mistery to me.

i woulkd say more that his high JS skill breaks him out, because JR and driving are much lower.

You wanted to say that his JS skill broke his general "allstar" potential limit?

Also if you are right does it mean then that player with "allstar" potential can normaly reach only to level "tremendous" in one skill? Anyway is there any detail explanation of reletionships between potential levels and players skills level?

no, but the training spped of a skill are affected by similiar Skills, and if you train JS the similiar skills must be pretty low in comparision + age.

I don't think that the reached the all star limit, which will affected training for every position, because he is much weaker then fast training player i know ... Maybe such a high skill like his Jump shot affect the potential more then more balanced skill set, but i like to say that this post means something different: (29708.66)

Thanks, I think you gave me reasonable explanation. The only way to find out for me is to try training him in other skill like OD maybe. I'll try this someday and if this doesn't help I will sell him for reasonable price :)) I lost to much time on him and it is frustrating for me.
If someone have more usefull explanation please provide me with it.
