This game's transfer market is completely screwed up. I have 250k saved up right now... I should be able to upgrade my team for about 200k, but the prices for players in this game are sooooo inflated. I think the game is great but how can I improve? These prices are WAAAAAY too inflated.

You have to cut 5-7 players no matter how sentimental you might be about them.

You will be playing 2 league games and a scrimmage and you can manage this on 10/11 players no problem.

Training is essential and if you cant afford better trainees choose your best 3 inside men and train 1 position IS/ID or your best 3 small men and train 1 position HD/PA/OD for 1 season....

Patience and intensive training will reward you with either 3 stronger players (thats 60% of your starting 5 which should keep you very competitive) or selling options so that you can improve in other areas....believe me the improvements will come but if you cling onto uneccessary players and train 22yo because they are 4 stats better than your 18yo you will be creeping up painfully slow.

7 players off your roster is 15k pw or over $200k per season.. half of your players are in poor form so what are you losing? a. nothing.. if you need extra players at the end of the week just pay 1k for a scrimmage player and sack them straight after the game.

Make decisions with your head not your heart and you will be fine.

JUST NOTICED YOU ARENT ORGANIZING SCRIMMAGES!!!! Dont complain about transfer prices when you havent grasped the basics of playing the game yet...

Organise a SCRIMMAGE AS SOON AS YOU READ THIS.

The prices are what the market will bear. It's a free economy. If someone will pay it, then they can ask for it. It is not a problem of the staff to resolve.

The basics of playing the game??? I'm 11-2 in my first full season as a trainer with players that I've acquired. I think I know how to play the game, I just don't understand the market of the game yet.

So what you are all saying is I need to cut my roster down significantly and schedule more scrimmages...
