This guy was on the transfer list and was supposed to close today in a few hours, now that I go in to bid he's gone.
The rare time a good player appears on the transfer list..

Yep, i had a bid on him... And now I don't know where he is...
I had him on my bookmarks, but when I click on him now I get a error page, just like the one that I get for 2 of my players:
http://www.buzzerbeater.org/BBWeb/playerbox.aspx?PlayerID=350596
Server Error in '/BBWeb' Application.
Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

Why in world would they fire a player they already had bids on? Maybe it can be changed so that you can't fire someone you transfer listed.

huh?
its just if you have 500 grand, you can commit 500 grand to 8 players. programatically its the easiest way to implement it.
the other possibility is that as soon as you spend any money we'd have to go through and check that you could afford every bid that you had made and cancel any that you couldn't.... that would seem to be computationally intensive.. but i don't know.. How does hattrick handle this?
