If shot blocking, passing and jump range is almost impossible to afford I think it limits the effectiveness and diversity of different tactics. Is it time to tune those skills down a bit on the salary formula?

I believe it would open up more diverse use of the tactic options, both offensive and defensive. These have been chain balls around the ankle since last I played. As long as the salary limits the reasonable options for tactics does it not limit balance (and investment into actually scouting player and team performances -> emotional investment in the game)?.

In my opinion a specialized top team should be able to afford 2-3 offensive and defensive tactics. Edit: With optimal scouting and game play estimates, maybe more.

Agreed, if applicable.
If you're able to build a versatile and more adjustable team, you should (at least, have the potential) to be rewarded.
