Hi, My name is Chris and I want to improve 3pt shooting in one of my players. I going to start a training plan for this player, he is a Small Forward (But I play him PG) he is the best player on my team and I believe that he can have a JR of 20. How much minutes should he have per week? what training methods?, etc all that I need to know, thank you for the help.

Height: 6'3" / 190 cm

as the previous message state it is not worth it.

even with the greatest elastic effect, a player loses around 8-10% of training speed per year.

according to community based calculations, a player of 25 years of age will train at 42% the speed of an 18 year old.
the sweetspot for training is around 22 years old if you want to just round out/complete a player when you train at 70% of the speed of an 18 year old.

furthermore, the low salay indicates that your player is not distinctive in any way in terms of total skills, so it is very probable that you will find a player with the same attributes at 22 years of age for a few hundred thousand $.

Do note, jump range is not exactly three point shooting. Iirc mid range and three point shooting are calculated based on your jump shot, and the further away from the rim you are, the higher "penalty" you will receive (hence less effective shot). Jump Range is a complementary skill that just reduces the penalty of distance, hence your player's jump shot will decrease less with distance.

Having 20 JR and relatively low JS would not be as effective as if it was the other way round.
