I thought I would promote last year and instead, my top competitor promoted even though I beat him. Now looking forward to another season of a bad draft position, and needing to train my players in a way that will not help me winning this season. Might well be looking at a mediocre season, maybe I can make a good playoff run at the end of it though.
What kind of season are y'all expecting?

btw: Wellcome back Seaslugs... My pre-season pick to win the division.

I think I will probably be 12-14 wins and likely the 3-4-5 place in the division.

Going to be an interesting season to say the least....

Good luck everyone! I didn't realize I'd be promoted due to my D IV record after losing to the Arrows in last years finals (congratulations TARS), but it's good to be promoted to the same league as them. Only right that they are my rivals haha.

I'll be in "fight your way out of relegation" mode this season for sure, this league is looking like a really challenging group of teams. I'm excited to start!

Howdy!

Alas, I don't share your optimism on my chances. My team is a little old and I'm heading for a rebuilding cycle. The 2 MVP caliber 19 year players I just drafted help in that calculation...

So Ron Ladner (my home grown wonder guard) has gone up for sale and I'll continue to tune/trim my roster.

Big 8:
Spurs
Cataluna
White Red
Super Stars

Great 8:
Seaslugs
Cutters
Cavaliers
Kings

Spurs and Cavaliers in the final with the Spurs Losing in three...

Optimistic maybe, but I think it's going to be an amazing season, the big 8 should be hard fought with the Great 8 being a little more black and white
Anyone else want to make preseason predictions?

I agree that Spurs and Seaslugs are the favorites to play the Final, behind there are 6/8 teams that are very close and anything can happen.

I was shocked that I promoted. Guess there were enough bots for me to grab a spot lol. I'm sure this is gonna be another competitive season. Good luck to everybody!

Yeah, that was tough, but you deserved to promote, if you had not gone playoff normal on me I would have lost to you in the division finals. Gives me another chance to try to surprise some folks in the playoffs after a mediocre regular season.

Wow, after week two of the season everyone in my division but two teams is 1-1...
Looks like an interesting season to say the least... and looks like the sea slugs could be doing a little rebuilding...

Fuuuuuuck that was a close game. Crazy 15-4 run my team did in the 4th quarter to come back but it just wasn't enough. Maybe if Koeller had better gameshape I could've pulled it off. Oh well, that's lesson learned. Good luck to the 2 finalists!
