I remember when you had to submit your lineups on punched cards. Charles had this ginormous IBM server fueled by a nuclear reactor that he fed them into. Games results usually took 6-8 weeks.
Back in 62’ we used morse code to transmit draft selections by telegraph. I remember accidentally telegraphing my draft selections to President Abraham Lincoln in the midst of the Civil War battle of Bull Run. I didn’t receive an immediant response, so frantically, I sent about twelve more messages. That was the first spam message in BB history. I was banned indefinitely and beheaded for treason.
