Is this for players or staff?

And what is the threshold to not go over before getting this tax?

Losing too much money because of this and I have no idea what it is...

Don't have any 100,000 weekly salary staff members. Planning on hiring a new PR-Manager in the next few days but have had a life outside of this game and haven't gotten to it yet...

Arena Prices are a minuscule issue at best given if I lower them, then yes I would get more fans, but at a lower price so it would be around the same relative income per game.

I'm not losing money every week. And I'm not in the negative either.

Kang is getting trained. And there is and has not been for at least the past month, a PG like him for 100k lol.

In terms of roster size: see above when I discussed the PR-Manager.

I'm not going to limit my player pool just to improve merchandise profit. A much better team will work significantly better with overall profit than an all american team simply for merchandise profit.

Some advice: Next time someone asks a question, just answer that question. If I had other concerns I would have asked. Instead you come off as arrogant when you probably have no reason to be. Mind your own business, son.

You probably don't need a PR.

It appears that the net effect of selling more seats for less money is almost always positive, so it's best to set the prices so that you don't sell out a category, but you get close enough.

Merchandise boost from homegrown and own nation's players can be fairly big, especially in higher divisions.

In any case, he did respond to the question somewhere in there: overextension was created to prevent people to just buy high salary players and winning trophies that way. Now you either have to have a positive balance or cover the shortfall with the salary increases you got from players you trained or you are taxed. I have a salary exemption from training of over 220k on one team and 170k on the other, this means I won't have to pay the tax even if I have a -150k balance. The tax simply accelerates the rate at which you lose money, if you are in the red.

No one says it was bad. The NBA does the same tbhing with its soft cap and luxury tax. However it is a way to maintain some competitive balance.

Also I'm probably just getting trolled by responding here

First off, a salary caps is used only in a handful of leagues in north america. Football (the real one, not the american version of rugby for ladies) is by far the biggest and most popular professional sport in the world and there is no salary cap anywhere.

Second, nobody said overextension tax is bad. People asked what it is and we explained.

Third, you need to check your comprehension skills.
