Little bit of a Tar Heel state theme going on around in this neck of the woods. And now my little team of has beens and never will be's are coming to try and upset the apple cart of the sharks. This will be a great example of what looks at first glance to be a true contrast in styles and team composition.

Notice to the sharks ticket office. We will be taking at least 1,000 tickets and where can the pep band set up? Of course with the appealing prices at their arena I am sure more riff Raff than usual will be making their way in from locales such as Shallotte Castle Hayne, Winnabow even far as Chadborne Whiteville and Lumberton. Though one has to be careful around those who come from those last three places as that crowd will cut you! I am sure all those retiree yankee transplant carpet bagger season ticket holders going into the reserved sections just have that look of pure terror when they see that crowd rolling in, I know my season ticket holders do. Let's just say the parking lot scene will be umm... interesting.

Of course a draw like this is total bollocks for both teams. Yes I know allegedly draws after the first two rounds are random but you just got to know that in the behind the scenes alternate reality that this world exists in there are some suits sitting there coming up with "marquee" matchups for that round and this sort of match definitely qualifies in my eyes

Hey Coach,

I just retired from the Army out of good ol Fayettenam, and consider NC to be my home away from home. I'll tell you what, we'll do our best to add Fayetteville's finest to that list of interesting people. I even sent a ticket to the man who punched the 62 year old at the Panthers game on Thursday. The Trump supporter who threw the cheapshot elbow at the protestor leaving the Crown is seated in the front row. Diamond and Silk said they'd be there!

I expect a rawkus affair and we Sharks will put our best on the court for the affair. I didn't like the matchup when I saw it, and still dont...but we'll try to play to our advantages the best we can. I hope we come out like our namesakes, a hungry bunch of Sharks looking to chomp down on some unlucky tourist Sharkbait.

Good luck to you, sir...thank you for making this matchup interesting. See you on the court!

Generals management salutes you.

Yes that sucker punching incident at the Panthers game was cowardly. But that was tame compared to the last time I went to BOA. That was for the Skins-Panthers in 2009 which was a ugly game between two rather crappy teams. Now I am a Skins man and as it goes we do tend to show em masse when the Skins play there since this was Redskins country long ago. That afternoon there were fights going on all over the place.

But if it is some good old fashioned English style Hooliganism that you want . We are happy to oblige

Listening to the radio on the way to Wilmington on business this morning I heard a story that one of the bridges is being renamed for Meadowlark Lemon who was a Wilmington native. In response to this Generals management would like to announce that Greensboro legend and Mr. Lemons esteemed teammate Curly Neal will be accompanying the team and a pre game ceremony will be conducted to commemorate the occasion. Mr. Neal will also do a ceremonial opening tip as well.

So I just upgraded to a supporter package... somebody help me, what are the three balls with arrows mean next to the “set lineup” link on the schedule page?

Hey Duke,

They're not really an important feature that I ever use. I believe that those icons have to do with adding a game to your scorebpard, or setting for dual view in your game viewer...like if you wanted to watch a rival's game along with yours at the same time...really just cosmetic stuff that in my opinion is not needed to enjoy the game. Welcome to the league!!

I’m not so sure I have the horses to beat you, honestly. I like to sell high on my players if possible too. Thanks for the info!
