So I am training up my defense this coming season. Training mainly bigs. Do I simply keep training ID every week? Or do I mix it up with IS, RB and 1v1 then back to ID? Like ID this week, and next week IS or 1/1 forward (or JS) and the following week back to ID? 2 of my trainees are 20 and if I draft a 6'9 forward obviously train him as well.

Mix it up, but train ID a bit more than the other skills.

Mix it up, because there is cross-training for all .skills, and this would be beneficial for your player's training overall.

Please read a training guide.
No don't mix it up...
I hope you don't do multiple position training...
Albright is the only guy really worth to be trained, Whitten could be your 2nd/3rd trainee.

Yes there is elastic effect but it doesn't work like the guys on top said.
First thing you train when you get trainees is 1vs1 due to the elastic effect and the different pops you may get (always train on the forward position)
After at least half (preferable 1 season, but depends on the potential) a season of 1vs1 you can switch to ID. Why? Because normally 1vs1 forward will pop IS, and so generate a positive elastic effect for ID. ID may pop SB/IS/OD. After a decent amount of ID either go to IS or OD (depends on the prospect and your final build). Reb should be one of the last skills trained or trained if you guys don't get the 48 minutes (due to foul trouble or injuries) if you train one position so you go to two. JS is the last skill you train!
