I thought I had a solid roster, but now find myself at 4-6 (granted I've only had my starting C two games, and my starting PF 8 games).

My salaries at each position are as follows:

PG: 35k (efficient salary based on his TSP)
SG: 15k (Probably the easiest place to make a substantial upgrade)
SF: 26k (very efficient salary based on his TSP, has same amount as PG)
PF: 25k
C: 33k

Bench:

PG: 4k (I badly need an upgrade here)
SG: 15k
SF: 10k (my trainee, he has 87 TSP)
PF: 13k
C: 16k

If somebody could help me field a more competitive roster that'd be great. If you have any further questions about skills, etc. feel free to message me. I don't know what the problem is, do I need a superstar? Is my team to "bleh?"

Besides upgrading the PG, you want to make sure your guards and SF have adequate OD. Same goes for your bigs having enough ID. Every league is different, but a level of 13ish OD and ID should suffice. Having bigs that don't have terrible secondaries also helps a bunch. Do you only have 1 trainee?

After 2 seasons in my D3 I realized that you need a PG, SF, and PF/C that are really good. I had Guards that were all sensational and tremendous and bigs who were all sensational with solid secondary's and it wasn't enough. The key is to have these things and keep your depth. So it will take training, along with the right TL pickups to get back and win. And what I did notice was that anyone that was put on the TL had 14+ on defense. So the previous post were correct that you will need defense top to bottom. You also need good handling and passing top to bottom because turnovers will kill you in close games. I'm working to get back. I just picked up my 4 guards and 2 SF's and I'm training a ton of OD. in 2 seasons or so I will hopefully pick up some bigs and try again. Some leagues may be weaker than others but the D3 that I was a part of was pretty stacked.
