Now that the new fan system is in place, which I'm super annoyed (Have to change my plans) and super happy (I argued for it for ages and was pretty much shut down about it) with, is there really a need for the 25 million cap before interest is charged?

I don't think it's fair that a manager is punished for continuing to make good financial decisions.

I'd lower it to 20

With the new influx of promotion money, I guess that 20 millions won't get you much in season 42. I'd raise it to 50.

For what reason? Because you can't manage properly? Seriously, what possible reason could you have for penalising managers who are able to do something well?

Shall we have something in the game engine that evens out the games, helping those managers with worse players?

Exactly. Thanks for providing some reasoning with your response, too.

The economy of the game is broken and totally unbalanced, fixing a lower soft cap on capital will help drain even more money

We will be showered in money pretty soon, why would we lower the soft cap on capital then? Biopolar behaviour at its finest

More like a dam bursting on a small town but I do agree.

What would be best is for the BBs to rethink the idea of extra promotions. This won't happen though, because their decisions are always right and can always be viewed afterwards as a success because whatever it brings about will be seen after the event as the desired result. In this case, inflation, massive prices, which will be seen as an improvement to the profit of training. It won't be; because training will become massively expensive as the price of trainers will rocket, but never mind that.

Why the need to drain money? The more money the manager's have, the more each player is going to go for. It balances itself out.

They could have a soft cap and a hard cap (soft the money is stored away like in Hattrick and released a bit at a time if you go below, hard the money is shaved off the top and you lose it forever).

They could, sure.

But, now that the fan survey is in place, which will devastate those teams tanking a whole season, or even a whole third of a season, it isn't necessary. Or is there a reason it is necessary still? I understood it was to stop people tanking for several seasons then spending up and buying wins.
