BB's say that tie/ct doesn't affect team ratings..so what about the difference between these two matches?
final:match 1, normal VS normal(4172395)
final:match 3, mots VS mots(4172397)

I think i found the problem, starting next season games you shouldn't see a difference between CT/TIE and the ratings.

I have followed up all my matches this season, including CT/TIE, and it is obvious that it affects the ratings, so even if it has been claimed that it does not I have never listened to that.

Actually, I cannot understand the switch to not showing it in the ratings. That will make it very very for new teams to understand the effects of TIE/CT. They will need to take a couple of seasons just to experiment arround with CT/TIE and make their own stats to get a rough idea of the effect. This means that for the vast majority of teams CT/TIE will be more of a "flip-a-coin" rather than tactical option.

(But hopefully CT/TIE will be removed completely sometime soon)

I would suggest a conclusion for all this mass.... Just make that user could use CT only once per season (like in FIFA manager for example...) and TIE like now as many as you want...

There were two places in the code where we gave ratings a boost for CT/TIE... i didn't realize that when there were some changes in the input/output code (which i didn't write/don't maintain) that these modifiers were placed in a different place, and thus when i went to remove them I removed them in the wrong place.... and when people complained i went back and checked the code and saw that as i had remembered i had removed the modifiers.

Upon increased chatter from users I decided that I should go back and take a second look more closely, and discovered the mistake. A combination of bad communication within the team and sloppy coding (not erasing the unused portion of the code) caused this error.

Now with regards to the CT/TIE not affecting ratings, I have checked this a number of times closely, and I'm pretty confident that that isn't true.. CT/TIE does reduce team spirit and that does affect certain ratings... not all ratings. Some things it doesn't matter how burnt out you are, or how revved up for a game you are, other things it does. Perhaps this explains your confusion about it not affecting ratings.

actually I know that enthusiasm effects rating... that`s just logical...
any way thanks and we`ll see how this is working in few weeks... Hope there will be just difference in sub-levels, not again difference by 1-3 levels like it was...

I see... i mean i think that's how its designed.... at some point CTing is not gonna reduce team spirit anymore.. you've bottomed out. I don't see it as a problem that teams can do this with no penalty, because they are being penalized.. they have low team spirit and if they didn't CT every game they'd have a higher team spirit and higher ratings because of it.... they aren't playing at their optimal level, so yes you can do that if you want to but its a bad strategy. at least we should design it so that its a bad strategy. That isn't to say that someone doing it should lose to every other team no matter what... but simply that a particular team would have done better to have done something else.
