Welcome to yet another week of FML Radio (party)
This week we would like to point out that there will also be a global episode where we sit down with three time BBB winner LA-Saur0n. So "Chek" that out in the global forum! We have a really good lineup for the local channel as well. Lately BuzzerBeater has seen some nice aesthetic improvements including the addition of Team Records on each teams history page. The feature is nice, but it doesn't quite measure up to this thread in Global:
(262636.2) Here to talk about his contribution to the manager kept list of BB Records is the man himself - moflaffle!

Chek: Welcome to FML Radio moflaffle!mof: Thanks for having me!
Chek: Tell us a big about yourself!mof: I got the dough, got the flow down pizat. Platinum plus the thizat. Dangerous on trizacks. Leave your ass flizat.
Chek: How did the BB Records thread in global start?mof: I wasn't around for the beginning of it, but when I first started participating on the forums on BB, the world records thread was one of my favorite threads to keep an eye on. Soon enough I started posting in there with my findings. Of course during these times people would argue over whether something was actually a record or not, so I decided to go through all of the world record posts, which had already passed 1000 in number. I marked down the records and kept the links to them, put it all into one post, and the rest is history.
Chek: Why do you only record records that are "Modern Era"?mof: I remember reading in the original thread that the game engine was very glitchy back [before Season 5], and looking at some of the games, it was quite apparent. I can't link the box score for some reason but there was a cup game where a PG had 47 offensive rebounds in 23 minutes. That same guy averaged 1 offensive rebound per game in 23 minutes for the season. Even the BB's were with me on this one haha
Chek: With all the teams that have set BuzzerBeater records are there any managers in particular that stand out?mof: Hmmm, that's a tough one. You know, come to think of it, I recall shikago setting a few records in his day. Him and his 63 person roster consisting mainly of dads/grandpas. Yeah shikago stands out a bit. Let's bring him in!
(http://i.imgur.com/2b6jCw9.jpg)Shikago: Thanks Mr. Moff.
Chek What? Uh... ok, same question... I guess.
Shikago: The legendary Ilmar Castell, owned by Peluin (it's probably time to stop owning black people, Peluin) was someone who came to mind for me. I remember him getting a -1.5 rating & not being sure if it was just a glitch or actually attainable. Ilmar was also one of the first players with 0.0 points per 100 shots as well, IIRC
And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention former GM Jelme, who set a BuzzerBeater world record for having the most heart. <3 Some say heart isn't something one can measure. But try telling that to his doctors. Doctors who subsequently diagnosed him with cardiomegaly
Chek: Shikago, you hold the BB record for most FT's missed in a game, lowest player rating in a game, most AND least points in a game, and many more. Why all the horribleness?Shikago: Just moments ago Niski broke his own record for lowest player rating (-2.5) & most FTs missed in a game (47). With our team choosing to miss a record 77 FTs in total.
Brick by brick, it's all about deconstructing the oppressive BB hegemony & opposing their institutional desires. Being decolonial & radical in the face of cis-gendered patriarchal gatekeepers like Hrudey. Players like Niski & Vardis Sourpis(s) vehemently reject BB assimilationist practices as well as the hierarchical heteropatriarchal racial nationalism endemic in BB. Imperialistic constructs must be unlearned. #SolidarityNotImperialism
