Congrats to manager P. Tom , really didn't see that coming mate, but you defied the odds and beat the 2 toughest teams in the league to take the title. Well done! All the best in the top division.

With another of the stronger teams leaving from the Great 8, next season should be interesting. No doubt the Stingrays will start the season as favourites to again dominate the conference and I dare say The Generous Men will be favourites to meet them in next seasons finals, but I'm sure there'll be a few suprises.

Goodluck everyone, looking forward to the draft (if I can land any of my top 3 targets, I'll be a very happy manager).

Thanks for the acknowledgement. I have to agree with you about not seeing it coming, I had no actual intent of winning any of the finals, less any thought of going all the way.

I figured in the first Final, I had to throw a coaching spanner at him to even have a chance, swapped out my C and SG and went Patient, was a nail biter and actually only got home after the buzzer on free throws after having various leads throughout thinking I was doing well.

The second final was just an all out LI Home Court use the GDP, PCT hope for the best after losing copious amounts of GS due to massive minutes, I was massively out DMI'd and was expecting to get thrashed... somehow we pulled it out and then boom!... Promotion.

You are right, It should be very competitive next season as the top teams really don't have to overhaul maybe just tweak and some of the rising teams don't need to do much to be right up there.

Good luck in the draft to those who are in with a shot of a decent guy, no doubt I will be in a good position to get a decent draftee after my first season in the top league...
