I don't think game shape and injuries are in the same category as enthusiasm or home field.

Enthusiasm is affected by league and cup, and yet those things are already separated from B3 because B3 minutes don't count. So not only are you right that enthusiasm should be locked for B3, it already fits with the way minutes are separately treated. Teams in different countries have entirely different situations, especially later in the season, and some will more easily be able to keep enthusiasm high.

For home advantage I think you make the case clearly. Being neutral, at the very least in the knockout stages, makes B3 fairer and less random.

On game shape and injuries, I think its more difficult to make a case for a change there. If injuries would be unfair in B3, they're unfair anywhere. We've all seen teams' playoffs ruined by an untimely injury. If it happens in B3, its only the same as that. Game shape is already the same for everyone. I don't see a case for a change there either.

The problem in respect of Enthusiasm seems to be only the final (because it's played after the semifinal in the league playoff). Just play the B3 final the week before (on friday) and you'll be fine. Alternatively lock the Enthusiasm for B3 purposes late in the season or just before the league playoffs (basically use the Enth of the B3 semifinals for the B3 final too, so you erase the advantage from the extra cup game too).

Each league has benefits and disadvantages, you will not be able to erase all the differences between teams coming from different leagues. As Misagh mentioned in the other forum if you play in a larger nation the base D1 income is higher (because more teams are competing and have high salaries thus boosting the TV contract and because of the extra cup round) if you play in a smaller/less competitive nation you have to carry less salary (everything else being equal), but you can TIE safely more games. You suggest we don't touch economy, but you want to remove one way smaller nations can make up for their disadvantages. And note that it isn't like larger nations can't do that, they can TIE as much as they like, they only cry foul when they get eliminated in the league playoffs by a better team.

Flatly removing Enthusiasm is going to penalise all the managers who are making an effort and potentially giving away league games to progress in the competition and if this means being less competitive in the national league, that's the price they are willing to pay (and the reason why in certain countries managers seem to focus on winning the league rather than the B3).

Regarding the neutral ground I tend to agree, since you only have 1 KO game and not a home-away series (but then it begs the question of whether it's fair to have national cups running on a different system).

Since B3 is the highest you can come with your team and we're trying to decide who's the best team in the world. Why not take away all the things that brings randomness and unfairness to the competition?
All games should be played at neutral ground for starters. And ent should be locked at 5 for all games.
Those are given for me. But then we got GS and injuries that are a bit more tricky. I guess someone has good opinions on those though.
May not affect many people in the game but I still think it's a needed change.

Two of those things, enthusiasm and game shape, are in the managers' hands to manage as skillfully as they can. Those are neither random nor unfair.
And really, are we "trying to decide who's the best team in the world" or are we "trying to decide who's the best team in the world with different rules?" Will the Golden State Warriors play their playoff games with a guarantee that there will be no injuries?
