If a bot team drafts a good potential player (MVP or above) I think buzzerbeater should force this bot team to list the player on the Transfer list.

This would help smaller nations in creating a strong U21 team, for example, in England, every year we have 5 or more excellent draftees who are sadly on bot teams.

Surely it is in everyone's best interests to place this player on the transfer list instead of letting him rot on a bot team.

What do you guys think?

I don't see how more high salary players is a bad thing, teams still need to be able to afford these higher salary players to buy them and be sustainable with them.

Also, it would give smaller nations a better chance at competing in the bigger tournaments, it would hopefully assist in levelling the playing field somewhat.

The likes of England and Sweden will never be able to compete with China or the USA due to player numbers, but at least we would have a better opportunity.

Maybe the case is similar in Sweden, in England we soon will have a lack of good U21 and NT players, this is partly because of the lack of good English draftees. Making these good draftees on bot teams available to active players helps us to become a better nation.

I think making the smaller nations more competitive outweighs the fact that there may be more higher salary players in BB.

I understand what you mean, but there will always be high salary players in buzzerbeater, I don't see any disadvantage by increasing this number by a small percentage.

Just a question. Am I wrong in my assumption that bot-teams don't draft players (or at least only after "human" teams?) I have the feeling that this was the case a couple of seasons back - but I'm not sure if that's still the case or not ...

Because, if bots draft after human teams, then every human team has the possibility to draft an MVP or so ... if they don't invest enough in scouting and a bot drafts the MVP, then that's not something that should be helped by putting those bot-draftees on the TL. I wouldn't invest in scouting at all if there would be plenty of supply in MVP+ players every season if those bot-draftees were on the TL. The whole point in scouting would be almost worthless.

And if this was implemented: would bot teams in bot leages (e.g. Germany Divisions V + VI) also be forced to sell their mvp+ draftees? That would probably be good for Germany as well, having more of those high-potential players to train. But I don't think that's what the BBs had in mind when they had the draft implemented (and all those changes where you have the possibility to get a good draftee if you invest enough in scouting).

Nope, bot teams draft regularly, before the human teams, if they higher picks..

Also I agree with Mannon, too bad for micronations, but it's still better this way..

I also agree with you guys - it's very hard to manage a NT/ U21 in a micronation ... but in my opinion, we should just try to find a way to get more users to join those nations (I know, not an easy thing to accomplish), then they'll have more trainees (and also more managers to train them) ...

maybe ur idea is the better suggestion to the problem.

make it such that all bot teams will ALWAYS draft after real teams.

That way, the human players have the best possible chance to get the Superstar/MVP/HoF/ATG potential players.

usually in the draft, in the first round, even in a league full of real teams, you usually get your first preference so making it that bot teams pick after you is not that much of a change.
in fact, now that i think about it, I think maybe you are right? Maybe bot teams do draft after human teams? I think this is in place already?

Yes, that's what I'm thinking. But would be nice if a BB confirmed...
