i think i have a probable U21 candidate, i want to know how best to train him

Age: 18
Height: 6'10" / 208 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: proficient

Jump Shot: average Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: average
Driving: average Passing: inept
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: inept Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: average Free Throw: inept

my plan is to upgrade passing, jump shot and inside shot to respectable this season if i can, and then do 1v1 all of next season when i have more players to train

also i have a question i know i wont make the playoff this year, during playoff time do i play 3 scrimmage games or just one, and if its just one how do i train three players in playoff weeks?

do you need 48 minutes to train free throw or stamina for a player?

one more question, realistically with a superior trainer, is it probable that my player makes it to the american team?

It's improbable. Which is just as well, since the training plan you described would make him a good player rather than a U21 player anyhow.

how would you improve my plan, noting the limitation that all you have is a superior trainer?

You said this is your plan:
my plan is to upgrade passing, jump shot and inside shot to respectable this season if i can, and then do 1v1 all of next season when i have more players to train

The superior trainer is enough...But if you want this player to play in U21 you must train him only at core skills in one position
(inside shot, inside def, rebound and block shot)

This player never will play at NT of USA because of his potential
If you want to continue your plan you will do a perfect PF which will not play at NT

So decision is yours

As said GM-Manon better to contract with the U21 management of USA how they want the player if he will play..
