As an opener, I've had a team in here for 3 full seasons now, winning a bot Div 4 league, losing everything in Div 3, and winning a bot Div 4 league again. I'm in 3.II this season, and I figured it's time to look a little more seriously at playing this game, rather than going through the motions.

With that said, here are my draft selections.

Australia Alex Sidaway (32954669) Shooting Guard

Australia Cooper Mitrofanis (32954677) Shooting Guard
Weekly salary: $ 2 125
Role: draws a paycheck

Age: 18
Height: 6'5" / 196 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: mediocre

Inside Shot: awful Inside Def.: inept

Experience: pitiful

Australia Nikos Natsis (32954675) Small Forward
Weekly salary: $ 3 159
Role: draws a paycheck
DMI: 0
Age: 19
Height: 6'9" / 206 cm
Potential: allstar

Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: respectable

My thoughts were to keep none of them, as they really don't seem to have the skills for their favourable positions, without a lot of training. I could be way off the mark though.

I would get rid of all 3 and get you some new trainees.

Cooper's worth keeping at least. 1v1 will fix his HA/DR holes and other than that his guard skills are pretty good. Maybe Natsis because he has decent all-around skills but he is 19 and lowish potential so it depends on what other trainees you have/can afford to buy.

If you train cooper, he can become a good player, but because of his cap, he won't be able to become a GREAT player. Granted, having a solid good player is still good, so I'd at least keep cooper

The limited potential of Cooper was the main reason I was considering off loading him.

I've got a young side anyway, and the trainee I have in his spot is a year ahead, with better potential.

I think I'll just clean the slate with them and carry on with what I started last season.

Cheers!

If you have a better trainee Cooper can be your 2nd. PAS is good enough to start in Div II. My pas guy started in all star game in Div II last season. So worth training along with the other guy IMO,
