I am completing my second mandate in a row and it's time to do a balance.

Consolation: 3 W defeating seeding 14, 63 and 63 (don't take 63 before SA!!!), vs 50, 82 and 85 W in S24. Lost by 5 in Qualifier against Malaysia, a big pity.

African Cup S25: Only 1W with Tounes in 2nd round and 2 (Tounes and Nigeria) in 1st. In S23 we had 3 in 1st and 0 in 2nd round.

Roster was completely refreshed. Only Hintsa is 33, all the others are 30 (1) or less. We have 6 at 25 or below. Great news and goal matched.

This was my program:
My program is simple: continuity. We refreshed the roster and set good cooperation with CEK6. Just keeping on this track starting from a better basis than two season ago. In terms of results, African Championship will strictly depend on other teams' roster (have they been able to refresh theirs?), while probable Consolation will depend on opponents and schedule.

My personal balance sheet, but seeking for your comments, is positive. SA has a completely refreshed roster, some players still young to nurture, a rookie U21 coach with enthousiasm (and room for improvements!!!), fluctuations in seeding depend almost all on increased level of opponents. It's a strange kind of roster that I am currently testing to understand the potential, as skills may suggest specific attacks (see also the two matches vs Luxembourg).

The Open question to the plebiscitary "so and so" is:

What would you have desired more?

As said, it's open question to better understand.

Here last act of S26. I reviewed all the SA players and updated DB, taking these conclusions:

Our heroes or the players that will wear the jersey (apart of injuries, GS etc)
Lekoelea, Sebe, Motsamayi, Galvin, Mazibuko, Galvin, Mokitimi, Motihala, Reerink, Gulch

Not first choice but... or the players that would deserve some kick to join
Mosheua, Moonsamy, Hintsa, Sugiura, Hlomelang

In radar or somehow good and/or trained players with chances to join - if improving
Moodlet, Tsenoli, Mamoepa, Hijdra, Nogwahya, Cotton, Legodi, Gabiseme, Maselesele

Just dropping, still useful or the evergreens
Mtolo, Hintsa

Dying but still there or our ancient heroes, old but ...
Magubane, Resha, Schartner, Wall, Rabutla

Fast dying, disappeared, vanishing, bot'd or byebye guys, we loved you
Wagana, Kolane, Kadzamira, Neimand

Hope I haven't missed any.

Hijdra is still a bit behind the first two categories, but very likely to join the NT.
