Well also consider that he is a 7'2" 18 year old center. Just because his salary is listed as 3k, he could easily be a 10k+ player at this point of the season. Maybe all he has received for training is IS. Regardless, of the situation he is definitely no longer a 3k player, so it is a bit more understandable. I still think 6-12 is a bit better than he should be getting against a player with those defensive skills, but he aint no scrub.

According to advanced stats 4 were assisted attempts of which he converted 3 and ID has very little affect on assisted attempts. He only shot 2-6 on contested IS attempts which a tad more understandable. Albeit annoying when against a 19ID player even if EBW is right and he's been training IS all season.

Basically you gave up 4 points on defended shots. Your 19ID guy did great. Unfortunately they found him open for 6 more points along the way.

Have to agree he is no longer 3k, looking at GS being 7 with 40k DMI indicates this. I don't have all the know how others have said, but what was mentioned about only being 2-6 in a straight up match up seems to align more correctly with your thoughts
