Hey everyone, just got promoted up to Div 3.

I know it gets a lot tougher up here and is going to take quite a while (if ever) to reach Div 2. I had a previous team that basically got stuck in this Division.

How is everyone's team looking?

welcome and goodluck hopefullly this forum is a little bit more active this season fashion victims can pretty much win the league with the amount of money they have stock pile. Also looks like wild turkeys are gunning for it with recent purchases.

Anyway i have you any questions and want help feel free to message me i guess its part of my job to do with new people.

Cheers Brooksy (NT Coach)

Hey all,

I'm really glad there was a thread started, I hate inactive leagues.

Haha Brooksy, yes I have a lot of money, it's public knowledge.
I've also listed my 2 big players for sale, if they do sell I will need to do a lot of research on how to best spend my 8 million.
So might not win this season, not sure yet, altho the 1 million promotion money and then the div2 money is very attractive. ;)

That is understandable with being the NT manager as well.

I'm kind of hoping my 2 players don't sell, then I'll just run at a loss this season and make it all back when I promote but I'll have a better team. :)

How have you made that much money? Been playing for a long time?

I just checked out some other teams in this league and the rosters are a lot more expensive compared to when I nearly got promoted to Div II like 8 seasons ago. Back then I lost the Grand Final to a team and I had my best players salary at $25K.

I still think we need a few more Div II leagues, the game becomes a bit of a bottleneck in Div III.

Haven't been playing a LONG time... but I've been lucky in the leagues I was able to run very cheap rosters and survive, even promoted on a budget roster, then relegated and now I have almost $400k roster (unless my 2 big money players sell) so I could be in for a very expensive season. lol

Times have definitely changed with regards to what kind of players you need in each div.

Yeah I promoted out of this league what 4 seasons ago with 4 players all of 25k as starters and my trainee PG who had I think 60k salary. But it was a breeze then last season run a 300k roster didn't promote I'm blaming injuries late in the season and during finals for that yhough

Maybe this year you will win it.

Monster game from Gaudin, 53 and 30. Must have been playing with his own ball.
