So, I have been looking forward to this draft and once again I am pretty disappointed. I had drafted a 5/4 A+ player and was mainly hoping for a Superstar potential guy with over a 3.3k salary and I was lucky enough to get both. Unfortunately he has some holes. No need to say what they are, because it is pretty obvious.

Weekly salary: $ 3 672
Role: draws a paycheck
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 0
Age: 18
Height: 6'5" / 196 cm
Potential: superstar
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: atrocious
Outside Def.: mediocre Handling: respectable
Driving: average Passing: pitiful
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: awful
Stamina: atrocious Free Throw: strong

Experience: atrocious

My question is should I keep him and train him or sell him? (At the moment I am probably leaning towards selling him). He is still considered a probably U21 NT player and meets all the requirements for the SF and PF positions and has Superstar potential, but quite frankly I don't think he fits into my plans with my two 19 year old trainees. Do you guys have any thoughts? BTW I only need to sell him for over 150k to break even with my scouting costs, he can easily sell for that right?

Keep in mind that I already have two American SF players who are both highly likely to make the U21NT so I already have two solid trainees and don't NEED a third trainee, but could potentially have another if the benefits are there.

Poll:  Should I keep or sell Larry?

Keep him! Train him with your other trainees!
Sell him! He can make you a decent amount of money

I don't know how your other trainees looked, but this one looks pretty good too me. The only real hole I think is Passing, and while OD and JS could be higher 5 isn't bad. Big things are IS/ID being 7 which is great. I think he'd be worthwhile to train, but if you're used to having better sure sell him, he could bring in some nice cash too.

It's just the JR at atrocious that bothers me because that will take awhile to get it up to at least awful and his passing will take a long time to get up to mediocre-average as well... hmmmmm... I think I'll wait for a few more replies and if many people agree with you then I may list him on the expensive side of things on the TL and if he sells, he sells, if he doesn't he doesn't. Thank you for your quick response and opinions

To me selling him is kinda pointless. If you are dead set on getting rid of him...I'd try selling him mid-season and just train him with the other two until then.

He fits right into your team although he has a couple skills that are a bit weak. Unlike the other two trainees you have he is a natural to your roster which would have a slightly better benefit long-term.

Actually I like this guy. He's 6'5" so that leans towards a guard but his starting big man skills are quite strong. His JR stinks but I personally don't put very much stock into that. I think at the very least, if you trained OD and PS for a season your return on selling him would increase a ton. And if he eventually morphs into a SF type player then Superstar potential is fine.

I guess it would depend on what skills you're training with your other 2 players as he'll obviously only be along for the ride.

Sell him. Atrocious Stamina is a no-go.

I hate low stamina but if he gets the odd stamina pop, which does train quickly, I don't see the issue.
