I'm looking for some help to train this player optimally...

Netos Farakopoulos (28709057)
$ 5 073
Age : 18 Potential: 6 Height : 6'10" / 208 cm
7 5
3 7
2 1
7 9
7 7
1 8

Bought him 3 weeks ago.
I'm training him OD Center only for 3 weeks now (2 pops OD, 1 pop SB).
It's the first time I'm training a PF, I've always trained guards until now.
Any help is welcome!

Thanx in advance!

I would keep doing what you are doing for the time being, and continue to train his secondaries. I suggest training a bit more OD, and a lot more 1v1 and PA. My general rule of thumb is to have all my bigs with OD/HA/DR/PA no lower than inept. After his guard skills are all above average, then switch to inside skills.

It will be hard at first, but his salary will stay down longer, and his TL value will increase.

Since it looks like you have 6 trainees, I would consider PG/SG passing or PG/SG OD. Then I'd look to do either 1 on 1 forwards for more IS and JS.

Personally I like to train outside skills first for my bigs when they are young.

Either way, Erik Delhaze (24017609) is who you should concentrate on training around. Not some foreigner you just bought. My guess is he needs inside skills? If so then yes train inside skills.

I would get his passing up too. I think that passing is more important for a Center than OD.

But I would keep training his guard skills for another full season, he's already got a great base for his inside skills and you can get to them later.

Actually, I'll try don't know what to do with Erik Delhaze. But I don't want to waste the player I just bought too...

So I trained one on one this week with Erik playing SF (+48min) and Netos playing PF (+48min).
I think it will be best to keep this going till the end of the season and then deside either to sell Netos or not...
Good idea?

Thx for all your help guys!
