I've actually made the purchase already (impulse buying at its finest), but I wanted to find out retroactively if having a Level 5 trainer is usually not worth it for a Division 4 team. My finances are still in the black on a weekly basis, and I have players I'm actively trying to train, so I thought it might be worth at least a short-term hire.

I think a LV 4 is the best in terms of price/performance.

Well, I've been doing the same thing for a month or two, and it seems to work great for me. If you can find a cheap level 5 and can afford the auction price, more than worth it in my opinion.

I'd say you're fine, as long as his salary is reasonable. And since you already have him, hang onto him for a season or two before thinking about changing things (again, as long as his salary is reasonable).

I've got a level 5 trainer... He may be a bit pricy, I don't know the exact salary, people say I should fire him and get a level 4 to save money. But that's their opinion, he's given me a pop every week on atleast one player, and my 23YO PG/SG is at Wondrous OD, popped 3 times this season now. and my backup PG/SG popped to 9OD, he's not a high potential, but he has some more pops in him and training to be a decent backup since I have no shot at promoting this season, haha.
