I haven't really decided but probably combo. Basically what I want to know is when should I stop training OD for an effective D.III?

Let me rephrase that. A really good defender at D.III and just a good defender at say D.II?

A little more. And then some more.

The best answer I can give is that it depends. If you've got good OD at the SF position as well as the guard spots, you can get away with a slightly lower level of OD than if you're going to rely on two guys to handle all your outside defense. If you've got no depth and you have to play with backups with 7-8 OD because your starters foul out / get tired / surprisingly can't keep up good gameshape playing 90+ minutes, no amount of OD on the starters will really ever be enough.

But I can say that I really don't know that I've ever heard someone complain that they wish they didn't have quite so much OD on their guards.
