In games does height play a factor in rebounding and shot blocking?

Heights of players are only a factor when it comes to training speed. Being taller does not increase your players rebounding or shotblocking at all. This is why in BB a 6'9" Center with wondrous inside skills will always destroy a 7'4" Center with lower skills. Is this realistic? Not really but that is how BB is played.

Cool cuz I bought a prospect and his best position was center but he is 6'1 so I freaked out, thanks.

Also remember that that is just his suggested position. He does not have to play there. For instance my starting SF is labeled as a center but he has really good outside skills as well so i play him at SF.

Height doesn't matter as my starting center is just 6'1" and he is averaging 13 rebs per game. Since your young prospect is listed as center he probably has decent inside skills. If you start training his guard skills you could develop him to a great all around player.
