Ill say the best thing to do is let his weakest man go wild on you and shut down the rest of them with a complicated defensive scheme. Play an offense that makse for passing , a 2nd chance point and freethrows. also jump shots will be your bread and butter. Play towards your talent and bench talent with the jump shot and second chance points.
If you have the speed, asst and 3ptrs and foul shooting advantage in the league.. Play run and gun/paitent, or your best tatic and a complicated defense with no easy outs on either side of the ball, this will eat up alot of clock setting up your offense which based on jump shot or 2nd chance points. Take way the inside shot and make him shoot jump shots, keep him on the perimiter (ABove the 3pt line). Make his weakest player his best option.. Hpoe he doesnt line the bench with strong player and share minutes.. then youll be in serious trouble if your defensibe skillare not up to par to counter. But your offense should dam explosive and with clock on your side you should win unless it bad night at the ft and he good defensive rebounders.
Remembr the right skills in the right offensive tatic pay the bills, it doesnt matter how much the other guy is paying for his players. He will wish paied alittle more when he see the score.:)
Maybe someome else can help better with a defensive scheme input. Im more of a offensive mind, im learning defense slowly. Good luck to you..
