Okay I can announce some contest winners now that magiker has selected the initial roster for our first U21 Worlds game vs Hungary tomorrow. Just so everyone knows, magiker went through literally hundreds of players to find these guys, and our database doesn't miss anyone, so don't worry.

We still have a long season ahead of us, and there are 9 open roster spots left for magiker to use, so there will be more winners announced as the season progresses!!! If you are wondering the other 3 players on the U21 roster were trained by foreign managers.

Congrats to all you managers who got your players on our U21 National team! You should all be very proud of yourselves for the incredible players you have trained and developed. Also I would like to throw out a large "Thank you!" to all the managers that participated in this contest but did not get your player on the U21 National team. Although your player did not get on the U21 roster, everyone here appreciate the effort you put into this and the young stars that you trained that now represent the US.

so yeah our U21 should win and you guys who trained these magnificent players could be very very proud once we get our 3rd straight title! The trophy belongs to USA and it'll stay USA!


I hope someday I myself train a U21 guy, when I'm in D2 training a HOF big

a question.............Bigs to train you have to be D2+ and Guards D4+ ain't I right? I want to know so I can plan on it.....for the future.

Not necessarily. You can see that two of our bigs this year, Luke Simmons and Keith Parra, are owned by D.IV teams. The bigs this year are a little weak and a little low in salary, but Len Nielsen, one of the dominant U21 bigs from two seasons ago, was also trained by a D.IV team. So it can be done, it's just a little unusual to see that high a salary in D.IV.

While Jones is on the roster, I don't want to post his exact skill set for the world to see. BB-mail me for his skill set if you want, but he's definitely not the traditional PF. For a big man, you would need higher potential that he has, as I found out when I originally drafted him. And of course the salary would probably be prohibitive for a D.IV team like you or me. But magiker gave me advice and helped me to create a build that gave him a chance, and now here we are.
