I won first of three finals and i know my opponent is one week old only and his team basically sucks .... at most he can buy good players which cannt play with me in finals/playoffs

I was thinking about these questions

1. Is it better to win in second match and get promoted , i.e. dont wait for tie breaker . But it wont get me anything , i mean i can get maybe ticket sales even at neutral venue and probably one more free game in tie breaker . i think we get only one scrimmage , that way i will get atleast one tie breaker game and one scrimmage next week if i lose (see as extra training minutes) .

2. If i lose on purpose and win in tie breaker , will it cause me any problems ... will i be commiting any offense , breaking rules in buzzerbeater ? i will send only 3 guys or maybe just give a walkover . Because once i had committed a crime in forums long ago and i was afraid i would get banned as i love the game so much .

No, there's nothing against the rules there. If you are essentially guaranteed to win the third game, it's common for teams to do this. You might have a harder time trying to find a way to lose the second one, in fact - I would just say don't give a walkover because it screws up training minutes for your opponent and I'd find that distasteful personally.

The last time the guy he's going against went on was last month, and he has a team of all 3k guys. I think it's safe to say, if he did a walkover, he wouldn't be diminishing anyone's training minutes.

He had said that the guy he was playing was one week old, so based on that I'd say don't give a walkover. If it's a semi-bot older team, I still hate the thought of a walkover but it's less bad.

No , i think that is a bug or maybe that guy just registered a team and never bothered to login

I think it can be some same person as 3-4 new teams were created on same day in my league which hardly sees new/regular players at all
