at age 33. But if you get a trainer with career extension skills then your older players (33+) wont drop as much. For instance, I have an advanced trainer with a career extension specialty and my 35 year old, who i got last season, hasnt dropped any skills at all in two seasons.

I have had big arguments about this with some of my friends. I say it is at 33 and that can be proven easily by a look at 33 year olds on the TL. Others claim it is at 32 but I have never seen any evidence to support this claim.

33!

Silly that in the NBA lots of players are peaking but here they are rapidly becoming worthless rubbish.

Depends on the training the player got while young. I got a 34 y/o SG that has only dropped in Stamina and got him at 32. Salary hasn't even dropped sharply. 33 for most thought.

I had a PF the past 6-7 seasons that started losing some skills at 32, maybe 2-3 pops over the course of the season (not stamina), and he's really taken off downwards once he hit 33-34.

And to be fair, I don't think you'll find many NBA players peaking around that age. They won't drop off as fast as BB players might, but they're not on exclusive paths. We also have the benefit of BuzzerBeater injuries not ruining/ending players' careers.

My question is do they all start to drop in skills at that age? i have a player who is 34 and he's yet to drop in anything. AND my trainer doesn't have career extension. its weird, but i'm not going to complain ;)

That's the nature of bb players. In real life most players do start to "drop" skills around 30's, but they are not rubbish. It's just that there're always some younger, stronger, and faster rookies joining the league every season.
