We are now about half way through the season, so I think now is a good time for me to begin my mid season predictions. Here we go!

Big 8

1st. urbana champs: Does this team know how to lose? (well they do to me of course :D ) erphil has gone week after week with solid play, and expect it to continue till the end of the season.

2nd. ETBU Tigers: I now know for sure that I made a mistake putting this team down 6th in the beginning of the season. They are a dark horse team led by Canadian star Patrick Pierce (11815471), and in my opinion may have a chance to steal the trophy.

3rd. The Beantown Bruisers: This team that got promoted through bot cleanup seems to be sweeping up the competition :D They have only had two losses, both by only a point.

4th. Royal Eagles SB: Though they have three losses, they do not show much sign of slowing down. Expect them to make the PO's.

5th. HURLEY BURLY BEARS: As i said last time bears can run up to a speed of 35 miles per hour. If that doesn't scare you then maybe this will: http://www.maniacworld.com/maze_game.htm

6th. xConcept: They have some concept to their game, we just have't figured it out yet...

7th. Portland Timbers: Unfortunately this kid just wasn't ready for the D.4. I hope he takes something out of this experience.

8th. MW3: Too busy playing videogames to ever check buzzerbeater :)

Great 8

1st. Chicago Shadowcats:Led by U21 player Dwain Withers (17735870) this team shows no sign of ever slowing down. Expect them to carry out the season with maybe only another loss at the most.

2nd. Demon Hoosiers: This guy has a very low salary team, but knows what it takes to win. Will easily take 2nd place.

3rd. Redding Beserkers: Another low salary team that sill probably come in third. The Great 8 is running out of competition, so any teams that actually are active will probably do well.

4th. bensballas: A nice team of players who I expect to finish off the season strong. PO's here they come!

5th. TheTanks: Not too much to say for a team that's about to go bot. Let's a hope an active manger takes over.

6th. MAD HATTERS: Lucky for this guy his previous manager got him enough wins to rank this high.

7th. Walnut_Goats : Led by Alfredas Kosiakovas (9193485) this team just can't seem to catch a break. At least they've been on in the past month though :/

8th. buzzerbees: Not much to say here. He stated he was quitting, and he is living up to his promise. Why?

From my analysis IV.21 is completely falling apart. Half the Great 8 is about to go bot and one from the Big 8. It's really sad, but true. I'm serious about this, if a new team comes in please send them some kind of welcome message, and offer help. I came here to get away from the bots, not to see more of them! Thanks for listening to my rant :)

There is a bot problem here. It has made my rebuilding effort easier to some degree though. My team is lower than average for here in salary, but significantly higher in staff salary. That's been more of a challenge in figuring out how much coaching pays off. My guess is that I don't actually get the extra 30k per week in value from my staff that I spend. Perhaps if that coach is worth the promotion, I might. That said, I don't see much point in making a real spending/promotion bid unless I think I can have a chance of getting back up to II within a season or two after that. It's much easier to bounce through quickly than it is to entrench down and slug it out.

Nvr mind, the Great 8 is amazing! I just lost to the team about to go bot!
