I do...simply because they're in the Eastern Conference. I think the top spot is a tight one. The Spurs are currently the 6th seed in the Western Conference...that right there tells you how good that conference is. In terms of the East, Detroit will always be up there. With that said if Boston doesn't make it to the Finals that will be a catastrophic disappointment.

Who am I kidding...Boston has a 22-4 record against the Western Conference. I like playing devil's advocate, but even I can't go for this argument.

but do they win the Finals??

I say no. Whoever comes out of the West will be a beast and will take care of them in the Finals. One may argue that the team from the West will be exausted after possibly multiple 7-game series, true, but I don't think the C's will have an easy time beating the Pistons on the East finals either.

I wonder what the Laker's will look like when and if Gasol and Bynum are playing in the same starting line-up.

Celtics vs. Lakers in the finals?

They announced yesterday that Bynum will only come back in the post-season. Will there be enough time to make it work?? Who knows.. I'm just glad i'll be able to see it.

Yes...but there are two ways to look at that....there was speculation that he wouldn't be back at all. So perhaps is a positive.

also, heh, I can't remember anyone else coming back from a 22 points deficit against the Spurs and winning the game.

which shows also that it might be hard for them to pull it off again, hehehe... Always different ways to look a things..

Since my Knicks is in the lottery, I will once again stick to the brazilian guys. So I'm Suns in the West and Cavs in the East, hehehe
