I know it's early, but, with the draft coming up, I was thinking we should start keeping an eye on talent for the national team (whenever it's introduced). Any thoughts?

Yeah, it'd be interesting to see what kind of players we'll have. This draft will be good for future players, but not for next seasons players (IIRC, national team comps will start next season).

Yeah I know it's a ways away, but the more we get ahead of the game, the better off we'll be.

I'm hoping this will be really relevant to me when elections come around =)

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

So you're thinking more for future national team players or current ones?

My best center should be in contention for the national team, and at least one younger guy isnt too far behind him and only 19.

I'm really thinking in terms of keeping track of our best players currently and future. Maybe a system organized by age? We don't know when the NT system will be introduced, so I'd rather not get ambushed by it.

National team's will be more complex in BB too (compared to HT) due to the game engine and importance of multiple skilled players. Should make national team competitions much more interesting too.

So we could just start a list of players and leave off attributes since I'm not sure everyone wants to share that info.

We should start this asap. USA needs to kick some major ass right from the start, Dream Team style.
By the way, could we call it the dream team?

I'm agree. That's why we must take action! A wise man once said, "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity." ;)

Perhaps we should appoint a NT tracker to keep tabs on promising players?
