Based on the training speed estimation by WFU03 (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thread=381&m=1), i guess you can expect players to pop 2 to 4 times in each Jump Range and Jump Shot in 13 weeks of training (= 1 season).
But this is a rough estimate, it depends on several factors (the trainees' size, play time, starting skills...).
