Any thoughts on what drove my loss in this match, other than I scored less points than my opponent? (29265283)

looks pretty much even.

except he shot 50% from behind the 3point line... I guess that made the difference

I think the base offense beat you. I think you could have gotten better offensive production using another tactic. But Im sure an expert will let you know soon.

Yah that can be frustrating, because you did play the right defense.
You guy look about even by looking at the match rating, but looking at the player rating I would have guessed that your team did better. I agree that your 3 pointers were an area that killed ya. (and I little confused why they gave you an average {medium} for outside shooting) Perhaps playing a different offense would have worked but you never know.

I'm not sure what your stamina situation is like, but with that kind of rebounding advantage I would have went with Push the Ball to get those extra possessions over your opponent. Other than that, I think you were just a little unlucky. Or very unlucky, especially since you had HCA.

First look at the offensive rebounds, you have 4 he has got 13
His center makes 4 rebounds and has a FG% off 75% thats 6 poins extra for him
His P forwards makes 3 offensive rebounds and has a FG% of 50% so thats 2 or 4 points extra on you

Your own offensive rebounds are not important since you have 4 and your players who made them make 50% FG

And then you got unlucky with the defence on his SG, he shot 6 3P didnt hit one but the rest he shot was a hit, while your own guard didnt shoot anything. Think you made the wrong defence gamble on his SG, maybe you had to swop defence positions.

But in my opinion you lost on the rebounds

@ Snowflake: Got a little confused here, it's the other way round ;-)
@ jista: Looking at the ratings, you should have won. You had a clear rebounding advantage, which is reflected in the box score too, turnovers are the same, so you had 11 more possesions wich should have translated in a close win regarding the matchups of your and your opponent's respective outside and inside offense/defense ratings.
Guess it's just a bit of a gamble to play 2-3 even if you know your opponent will play an inside tactics because the damage dealt by some random three pointers hit can apparently make the difference in such a close game...

Thanks to everyone for their input! I figure the 2-3 zone may have something to do with it, though if I play M2M maybe I get beat up inside instead of outside. Little bit of bad luck, but those are the breaks.
